Doro Vision Farmers’ Seed Fund

The Doro Vision Farmers’ Seed Fund is an initiative to empower Plateau North, Plateau State farmers by providing financial support to enhance their cultivation efforts. For this first season, we are giving ₦100,000 each to 10 poor farmers to boost productivity and foster sustainable agriculture. Nomination/application close on the 6th of January, 2025.

How to Apply or Nominate a Farmer:

  1. Eligibility:
    • Applicants must be actively engaged in farming within Plateau State.
    • Must have plans to use the funds for the upcoming farming season.
    • Must be a poor farmer.
  2. Application/Nomination Process:
    • Submit your application or nominate a farmer via the provided form.
    • Include the farmer’s name, location, type of farming, and a brief description of why the nominee deserves the fund.
  3. Selection Process:
    • A transparent review will be conducted to shortlist candidates.
    • 10 winners will be selected through a live random draw on Facebook and Instagram.
  4. Announcement and Fund Disbursement:
    • Winners will be announced on our social media platforms.
    • Funds will be transferred directly into the winners’ verified bank accounts during the first week of the farming season.
  5. Monitoring and Impact:
    • Winners’ progress will be closely monitored to measure impact.
